Tax / Financial Analyst

The City of Franklin is currently accepting resumes for a Tax/Financial Analyst.   Requires a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 5 to 7 years experience in financial reporting/general ledger areas. Experience in governmental accounting or tax collection is a plus. This position will primarily be responsible for collecting municipal taxes and licenses, monitoring the City’s statutory and municipal regulatory compliance for all sources  of taxpayer revenues, as well as responsible for recording general ledger transactions and reviewing financial reporting information; must demonstrate a strong ability to analyze recorded transactions, display strong computer skills, including accounting software and Microsoft excel, and exhibit excellent communication abilities.
